Dear NAM Parents,
I can't believe it is already October! There are a lot of fun events happening this month at Martyrs.
To start, as a reminder, students may wear a Pius shirt or any green and gold top with uniform bottoms this Friday to help celebrate Pius X Homecoming! We're thrilled to help build future Pius X students #BoltBound. Speaking of, this past Tuesday, our 8th graders had the opportunity to visit Pius and get a sneak peek into the life of a Pius student! Families with students at Pius, check out the NAM-to-Pius shuttle flyer under community news (contact Melissa Peters at Pius for more information).
Parent Teacher Conferences are next Thursday, October 8. Please don't forget to sign up. We kindly request that all parents attend. Your child has worked hard, and we are excited to share their success with you. While you are here, stop by the library and visit the book fair! The school book fair will run from Monday, October 5 through Thursday, October 8. It will be open to students only during the school day Monday through Wednesday, and open to parents during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 8.
We just had our second Sweatpants for a Cause and have raised $423.00 for Mater Filius so far this year! To keep supporting their amazing mission, I’ve created a wish list to collect books and spread the joy of reading. Click here to join us in making a difference and giving the gift of books!
Progress reports for grades 3 through 8 were emailed yesterday. Please check your spam or junk folder if you did not receive your child's report.
There is no school Thursday, October 8 through Monday, October 12. School will resume on Tuesday, October 13.

After School Sports Night:
Throughout the year, we will be hosting different sport nights for students in 5th through 8th grade. Sometimes it will include all, or it will only include certain grades. These nights will include participating in things like football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and many more. This would be a great time for the kids to hang out after school and enjoy some sports with their friends. We will have them between 3:30- 4:30 either outside on the fields or in the gym. Be on the lookout for posts about in on Facebook, hearing your children talk about it, flyers, or emails.
