Dear NAM Parents,
Happy fall! With the weather cooling down, it sure is beginning to feel like autumn. While students can still wear uniform shorts, skirts, or jumpers without leggings until the end of October, we ask for your help in ensuring they wear the appropriate bottoms for the weather and pack a light jacket or sweater. Students go outside for recess daily- and twice a day for our younger grades. We want them to be comfortable and enjoy their time outside even as the weather gets cooler!
This weekend is the Pumpkin Run. Mr. Fehringer, Mr. Vance, Miss. West, and I are excited! If your child would like to run with us, please meet us before the race time at the big blow-up pumpkin on Q street and canopy.
10 a.m. – 5th Grade and Above - Running with Mr. Vance and Mr. Fehringer
10:30 a.m. – 4th & 3rd Grade - Running with Mr. Vance
11:30 a.m. – 1st & 2nd Grade - Running with Ms. Fairbanks
12:30 p.m. – Kindergarten and Below - Running with Miss. West

Looking ahead, Parent Teacher Conferences are in two weeks. As a reminder, we kindly ask that all families make every effort to attend Parent-Teacher Conferences. Your child has been hard at work for the last month and a half, and we are excited to share their growth. This meeting is a wonderful opportunity for parents to get a glimpse into their day. We look forward to celebrating their achievements with you and discussing how we can continue to support their success. Your child's teacher will send you an email on Monday with instructions on how to sign up for a specific time slot. If you have any scheduling conflicts, do not hesitate to reach out to the main office or your child's teacher directly.
Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you on Sunday.
-Ms. Fairbanks

After School Sports Night:
Throughout the year, we will be hosting different sport nights for students in 5th through 8th grade. Sometimes it will include all, or it will only include certain grades. These nights will include participating in things like football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and many more. This would be a great time for the kids to hang out after school and enjoy some sports with their friends. We will have them between 3:30- 4:30 either outside on the fields or in the gym. Be on the lookout for posts about in on Facebook, hearing your children talk about it, flyers, or emails. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Fehringer at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
