Dear NAM Parents,

We are two weeks into the school year, and things are going great! Students, teachers, and staff are excited to be back in the classrooms, learning, growing, and glowing for God!

Next week, our students will begin earning Virtue Vouchers, a form of positive praise that adults in our building hand out when they catch students doing good- living a virtuous life. Throughout September, students will drop their vouchers into a box for a chance to win cool prizes in our monthly raffle. Additionally, at the end of each month, teachers and paras will select one student who has consistently and outstandingly embodied the virtue of the month. These recognized students go above and beyond, serving as powerful examples of character for their peers. To further build our community and student leaders, students will also begin meeting with their grade buddies (PK & 7, K & 8, 1 & 4, 2 & 5, 3 & 6) next week. During this time, they will play games, practice our weekly social skills, while giving our older students a chance to act as leaders by showing their younger buddies how to live out our school virtues.

  • Virtue of the Month: Justice- Enables one to give to each, beginning with God, what is due him
  • Virtue of the Week: Justice- Enables one to give to each, beginning with God, what is due him
  • Social Skill of the Week: Greeting others

Drop Off/ Pick Up: A special shoutout goes to our crossing guard crew. Our crossing guards volunteer in the morning to help keep our students and families safe. A few things to note that I believe will help the car line process: follow the traffic flow (see image), stay vigilant, and refrain from blocking streets and driveways.
