Dear North American Martyrs Families,
I pray that your first week back to school went well. As we transition into the new year, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Your child's teacher, Mrs. Guenther, and I are here to help. To streamline communication, we kindly ask that your child's teacher remain your first point of contact. If a matter involves Mrs. Guenther or me, always feel free to include us in the communication.
A huge shoutout to our PTO for sponsoring our first family event of the year, the Ice Cream Social in the courtyard during Open House! We are so grateful for the support of our PTO and parents, who truly make Martyrs a special, one-of-a-kind school.
Tomorrow after Mass, grades K through 8 will practice our annual evacuation drill, which includes walking to Fredstrom, our relocation site. Teachers have already discussed what to expect and why we might need to relocate with the students. We will be sending out a SchoolMessenger text and email with the following message: “Teachers and students successfully participated in an evacuation drill today.” If you do not receive this text message and email, please contact the school office so they can get you enrolled. We sincerely apologize for yesterday's delayed communication.
Looking ahead to next week:
- Virtue: Prudence- Enables one to reason and act rightly in any given situation; "right reason in action"

A note from Pius X: Join us for Parish Family Football Night on Friday, September 11, as we celebrate our parish and Catholic school communities with an evening of faith, family, and football. Cheer on the Thunderbolts as Pius X takes on Aurora at Aldrich Field. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Special admission will be available for Jr. Bolts players in grades 3 through 8 wearing their jersey, who will receive free admission. Jr. high students wearing a “We Are Pius X” T-shirt will also receive free admission. Family admission is $15. We look forward to seeing our parish and school families at this special community event.
