Dear North American Martyrs Parents, 

Welcome to the start of an amazing school year! We are officially one week out from our annual Open House. The following is a list of last-minute to-do and reminders before the school year begins. 

The Open House Checklist (Monday, Aug 17 @ 5:30 PM)

• Kick-Off: Meet in the church at 5:30 PM for teacher introductions and a PTO welcome.
• Supply Drop: Bring school supplies directly to your child’s classroom.
• School Office Open: Stop by the front office to drop off forms, make lunch payments, and/or discuss medications.
• Sweet Treat Provided by the PTO: Grab some ice cream in the courtyard afterward.

First Day of School Checklist (Tuesday, Aug 18)

• Extended Care: Before-school care is available if you need it beginning at 6:30 AM.
  • Extended Care Program Parent Handbook & Registration: Important Documents
• Dismissal: Noon dismissal today! No lunch is served, and there is no after-school extended care today.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Routine

• Drop-Off: Begins at 7:40 AM in the courtyard. Students arriving before 7:40 AM will go to extended care (fee applies).
• Join Traffic Duty: Volunteer for traffic duty to make a BIG difference and earn service hours! (Check the flyer for details) 
• School Start Time: School begins at 8:00 AM. Students arriving after 8:00 AM must enter through the front office for a tardy slip. 
• Walker Dismissal (3:07 PM): True walkers only. Walking across the street to a parked car does not count.
• Kindergarten Dismissal: 3:10 PM.
• Grades 1–8 Dismissal: 3:15 PM.
• Traffic Flow: Please review the Student Drop Off & Pick Up handout to keep the car lane moving safely. Important Documents

Required Forms & Paperwork

• Preschool: Submit Birth Certificate to the front office.
• Kindergarten: Submit Birth Certificate, Baptism Certificate, Physical, and Immunization records.
• 7th Grade: Submit State of Nebraska Physical and Immunization records (covers sports too).
• Asthma/Allergy: Submit a provider-signed Action Plan to keep inhalers in the office.
• Prescriptions: Turn in a parental consent form for any daytime prescription meds.

Tech & Finance To-Dos

• Tuition Plans: Finalize your FACTS payment plan by Monday, August 31 (check your spam folder).
• PowerSchool: Complete the online medical forms authorizing the school to dispense OTC medications. OTC Policy Update: Parents no longer need to supply OTC meds; the school will provide them.
• Lunch Accounts: Add funds at MySchoolBucks.com, or drop off cash/checks at Open House to skip fees.
